We’re excited to introduce new features and improvements that make Tick even more intuitive and flexible for both admins and end users. Here’s what’s new in this release:
Tick now remembers whether you chose to hide or show completed tasks. Once you apply this filter, your preference is saved in your user settings—so no matter which issue you open next, Tick will automatically apply your preferred view. No need to reapply it every time!
To help avoid accidental deletions of a tasklist, we’ve added a new option under Admin General Settings to enable a confirmation popup before removing a tasklist. This feature is enabled by default, and admins can choose to turn it off if needed. It adds an extra layer of safety when managing tasks and checklists.
Until now, only admins could create and manage templates. With this update, admins can allow end users to:
This provides much more flexibility for users to build and reuse their own templates—perfect for teams that handle similar workflows across issues.
⚠️ Note: Automation features and assigning templates during issue creation are still admin-only and need to be configured from the admin panel.
Starting from this version, Tick supports issue moves across projects and changes to issue types. If you move a Jira issue or change its type, your checklists will move along with it—no data loss, no extra steps.
